WIX EQUESTRIAN CENTRE NOVICE INDOOR EVENING JUMPING FOR THE TANGO TROPHY THIS PERPETUAL TROPHY WAS KINDLY DONATED BY THE THORNLEY FAMILY IN MEMORY OF THEIR PONY “TANGO” WHO SUCCESSFULLY COMPETED HERE OVER MANY YEARS. WEDNESDAY 24TH FEBRUARY 2010 WEDNESDAY 24TH MARCH 2010 4.30 - 5.30 P.M. CLEAR ROUND JUMPING AT 18 INCHES
ROSETTES : 1ST TO 6TH (IF ENTRIES ALLOW). ENTRIES : ALL ON THE DAY. CLEAR ROUND £3.50 CLASSES 1-4 £7.50 ENQUIRIES : TEL. CLACTON (01255) 870744. BEFORE 5 P.M. THESE SHOWS WILL BE RUN UNDER TWO PHASE - the competition is run over 2 sections, the first is the equivalent of the first round & the second section is the jump off against the clock. Both phases are jumped without interruption & the finish line of the first section is the start line of the second section. If you are not clear in section 1 then a bell will ring & you leave the arena before starting section 2. TROPHY RULES Points will be awarded for classes 1-4, 6 points for 1st place, down to 1 point for 6th place. You may take points from two classes at each show, but must specify when entering, which classes you wish to be considered for points, if competing in more than two. If you do not specify, points will automatically be allocated for the first two classes entered. Previous winning combinations are not eligible. The winner will be the combination with the most points after the March show, at which the trophy will be presented. You must take part in at least two shows in order to be considered for the trophy. GENERAL RULES 1. THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL. 2. All riders must wear crash hats with non detachable chin straps. 3. Competitors are asked to be correctly dressed with shirt, tie, jodphurs, jacket & correct boots, (NO HALF CHAPS) 4. A horse or pony entering as a non-competitor may not compete in a later class as a competitor. 5. A horse or pony may enter a maximum of three classes excluding clear round jumping. 6. Please obey rules in the warm up area & jump practice fences with red on the right. 7. All dogs on leads & clear up after your dog. Schedule
