Two perpetual trophies were kindly donated by PARKWAY PASADA when the Equestrian Centre first opened in 1987, one for horses, one for ponies. You can score points form these shows held on the first Sunday of each month, November to March (inclusive). Points are awarded as follows; 6 points for 1st place, down to 1 point for 6th place. Points may be taken from two classes at each show, you may enter more classes, if eligible, but you must declare in advance, which classes you wish to be considered towards your points total. If you do not specify which classes you wish to be considered, we will automatically allocate any points scored from the first two classes entered on each day. These do not always have to be the same classes, for example, you may start the shows in the novice and intermediate classes, then be obliged to, or may wish to move up to the intermediate and small open. The points will still count towards your total, as the overall winner is the combination with the most points after the March show. The trophies will be presented at the March show. ALL CLASSES WILL BE RUN UNDER TWO PHASE SHOWJUMPING RULES FOR TWO PHASE COMPETITIONS. The competion is run over two phases (sections) – the first phase is the equivalent of the first round and the second phase is the jump off against the clock. Both phases are jumped without interruption, the finish line of the first phase is the start line of the second phase and the first fence in the second phase follows on from the last fence in the first phase. If you have any faults in the first phase the bell will be rung after you have jumped the final fence in this phase and you will then leave the arena. If you jump clear in the first phase you will immediately start the second phase against the clock. The result of the competition will be based on the faults and time in the second phase. GENERAL RULES 1. THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL. 2. All riders must wear crash hats with non detachable chin straps. 3. Competitors are asked to be correctly dressed with shirt, tie, jodhpurs, jacket & correct boots, (NO HALF CHAPS). 4. A horse or pony entering as a non-competitor may not compete in a later class as a competitor. 5. A horse or pony may enter a maximum of three classes excluding clear round jumping. 6. Please obey rules in the warm up area & jump practice fences with red on the right. 7. All dogs on leads & clear up after your dog. Schedule
